iCodify has been providing expertise in medical coding, medical record documentation, claims submission and regulatory requirements for payer payment for over 35 years. iCodify is based in Jackson, Wyoming and is privately owned and operated by Melissa Ferron, founder and CEO of iCodify. Melissa Ferron holds a B.S. in Medical Record Administration and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), both with the American Health Information Management Association.

Melissa Ferron, RHIA, CCS
Melissa Ferron’s professional background is based on over 30 years of experience in the areas of Health Information Management and Payment Methodologies. She brings a unique set of skills and valuable experience to the clients served. Melissa’s passion and goal for iCodify is to assist clients by bringing the highest level of expertise, knowledge and experience in medical coding so that revenues are optimized, compliance is achieved and the reliance on the data for business analysis can be assured.
Prior to founding iCodify, Melissa worked as the Director of Health Information Services and Resource and Outcomes Manager for 10 years at a Southern California hospital. She has successfully trained hundreds of coding professionals and physicians in coding, payment methodologies and quality reporting.
Melissa holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Record Administration from Loma Linda University and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), both with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). She is also a Past President of the Southern California Health Information Association and has been a featured speaker at AHIMA and other professional association conferences.
Kenneth Macklem, RHIT, CCS
VP, Business Development & Strategy
Kenneth has been in the Health Information Management field for more than 35 years working for primer healthcare providers throughout the United States. Mr. Macklem began specializing in coding before branching out to H.I.M. /Coding operations and acute care revenue cycle management. Over the last 20 years, Kenneth has focused on education, quality, compliance, systems administration, and revenue cycle. His expertise encompasses all areas of coding-related computer applications, hospital system interfaces, and information flow processes. Kenneth has held project leadership roles and has been the subject matter expert in revenue cycle initiatives for hospitals ranked in the top five in the nation and the largest academic medical center in the western United States.
Prior to joining iCodify Mr. Macklem served as Vice President of Client services for MiraMed Global Services. In this role, Kenneth was responsible for auditing, compliance, education, sales and recruiting support.
Kenneth is a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), both with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
